Several people have told me dos fox and nt don't get along. I am sure you must have done whatever you are going to do by now anyway. could you let me know how it went? I think the problems may only come into play when you have 30-40 users as we do using the app.

The incompatibility issues are more from running FPDOS under NT than from having FPDOS access files from an NT Server. It's likely that some tuning of the NT Server could be done to make the problems go away; if you aren't familiar with tuning NT Server, bring in someone who is; it's not a trivial task.
From a file hanbdling standpoint, a file resident on NT Server is handled the same way by the underlying network client as a file shared from an NT Workstation or another Win9x box. it's differences in the cahce behavior and the nature of the connection to the server and how the server manages connections that causes you problems.
