Sylvain's advice is 100% right BTW. Comboboxes in gridgs are really unsatisfactory. Even small ones slow a grid to a crawl (IMO).
One (very small) modification to Sylvain's suggestion is that you could put textboxes/cbos/etc. nicely arranged above or below the grid so users can navigate and edit on the same page. HTH.
>IMHO, a combobox with more that 100-500 items is pretty much useless. [...snip...] You might try a different approach. Like making your grid read-only and using a second form for data entry.
