I did find out what the malfunction was in this app I have to make functional. The column SPARSE property was set to .F., now is that strange. I guess the characteristics of this property effects not only currentcontrol but the column as well. I can not think of an example of why sparse would be needed. If a user is doing input, why effect every control in the column? If a combo box is a control, it is usually the focus, and the text is riding along. if you could enlighten me, I would appreciated it.
