Well I changed my code to create a Dbase table instead of Foxpro 2.6 and all my templates to use Dbase file format so it works but I don't like it. I guess Office 98 supports VFP free tables (can anyone verify this?) but we are still using 97 so...

I'm still not clear why Microsoft would pull ODBC support for 2.6 tables in MDAC but not Dbase formats which are quite a bit older.
