Any app that I create that uses dates in the calculations will become useless on Jan 1, 2000. Is there an option or switch somewhere that enabled 8 digit date storage, or is the only solution to create my own date format in a text field? Was this addressed at devcon or any other events?

Jim-
thanks for your replies. Upon reading and further exploration of my new (to me) software, I found that in the display options, there is a check box for 'Show Century'. This doused my concerns, if VFP can show the century, it must know which century it is. Thanks guys.
