I had good luck converting my 3.0 projects to 5.0. The issues I dealt with mostly made my life easier. But, some formatting changed. For example, the bold property became .F. by default. Stuff like that. Yes, some background color stuff changed, too. IMO, it was well worth upgrading--the gain far surpassed the headaches. The speed is better, and the stability is better also. Those two aspects alone (which help me _and_ the user) were worth some tedious evenings. :-)
