This is just some observations of mine but, we go to preschool in order to be ready for elementry school. In elementry we learn to read, write and do math. Than Jr. High Prepairs us for HighSchool. We spend four years in HS to learn how to be succesful in College. So aside from 1st Grade and 2nd Grade we spend our whole education on learning how to get to more school, which is really a sad thing when you think about it. So once you hit College levels focusing on actual skills is what I would appreciate.

But you're also right in that once you make it to college your mind is in different states and much more capabale of anything it has been.

Unfortunatly, finding the right balance for out shools is a near impossible task! Just some thoughts.
