The cause is, that the Setup Wizard does not copy either the Foxhelp.exe or the Foxhhelpps.dll file when you select ENGINE in step 2 of the Setup Wizard.
>Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in Visual FoxPro 6.0. This bug has been fixed in the updated version of the Setup Wizard VFP6swiz.exe dated 10/08/1998 corrected in Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack3.

aha! I've just installed SP3 - do you know how we're supposed to benefit from this fix and install the html help? Or do I just need to go look at the reference above?
