>We occasionally get the following message from our Foxpro application: This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. The details start of by saying SPARASYS caused an invalid page fault in module VFP500.dll at 0137:1009a220. Do we need an updated version of that dll? What can we do?

It's a GPF. Basically, the application has attempted to access an area of memory that it shouldn't. This error is often difficult to track down because you don't really get any information that helps you. But, maybe with a bit of detective work, we can point you in the right direction. You get the VFP DLL error because that is what is really running your application. Deleting and reinstalling the DLL *might* help.

Does the error happen in the same place in the program each time? Are you using any ActiveX controls?
