Thank you for your reply. Below are answers to questions you had.

The GPF does happen in the same section of code. The code is mostly doing table updates.
I think we do use active-X. I read some where that a grid uses active-X and we do have a grid on one of the screens.

Also, a user this morning received the following error:
Sparasys caused an invalid page fault in module kernel32.dll
Does error give you any more insite?
