I was under the impression that databases create in older versions of Fox would work without any problems on newer versions.

I have a table that is used with Fox 2.6 for Dos. It gets records inserted into it from a VFox 6 app. In the Dos program a seek does not find the record, however, a seek directly from the command line does find it. I have created a test program that just opens the file and does a seek. This will not find the record.

If I reindex the file using FPD26, the problem goes away.

Help!!!!!! Any sugestions?
