This question cannot be answered in a vacuum. You must consider the overall project issues here. Therea re ways you can retro fit the new VFP forms into the existing application if you need to get it done quickly.

If the project can afford the time then you can redesign the whole things to be object oriented in its structure which would require everything being essentially rewritten. Of course it also requires the time for you to climb the learning curve for OO development and design as well. These two issues may cause oy to rethink the redesign approach for now. You may want to take my previous suggestion to get by for now and postpone the rewrite of the application.
