Hi Lance,

We use the slim Sybase Anywhere 5.5 db server as both a typical central server and standalone copies are replicated on portables on the road.

The engine is simple to install, ram-conscious and efficient for mid-size databases.

Sybase Anywhere has a significant track record of support for "in the field sales people". You could check their site.
