Pls note that there were many reasons for posting requests, first one offcourse is open offer for everybody to share their ideas and give suggestions for the betterment of UT, & as you can see lot of my requests were accepted, I guess that way at least somewhat (if not more), I’m contributing to UT… (Contribution in this sense that more the features, more will be the members)

I totally agree with you on this that i've got more value from ut (& still getting), infact to tell you the truth I’ve learned visual foxpro from here…Bcos of which I always try my best to contribute as much from my side as possible (i.e. by posting files, kbs, faq, answers to questions). Off course I’m not genius in VFP but whatever little bit I can do, I’ve tried & contributed… I’m also aware that I haven’t contributed as much as you but I’ve tried whatever is possible from my side…


But me being ‘PUTM’ was a issue which I didn’t wanted to discuss here but as you have started this, let me clear it…

1. I was a premier member for 1 year before (& this I did in the very beginning), when I started coming here… (This can be checked by old recs)
2. We in UAE are paying connection charges i.e. Every hour we have to pay, so rates are very heavy & at the same time there is a firewall/proxy which UT Navigator is not supporting currently..
3. Michael is already aware of this thing, Infact I’m on the top of the list that I’ll be getting PUTM once he modifies UT navigator to support proxy.
4. Only recently Michael released new version of UT, & straight away I’ve send him a personal email that whether this version supports Proxy or not… (This all can be chkd by asking Michael)

I respect you a lot for your professionalism & sound knowledge in vfp, but pls let me ask only one question..

Is money the only factor through which one can contribute here ??? Currently off course my company is paying for my membership but say if I’m independtly working and not in a financial position to pay for PUTM, Does that means if I don’t pay I’m not contributing anything…
