I aready asked the DoubleTree - they only have a shuttle from John Wayne, not from LAX. I'm going to try and arrange my arrival time at LAX to fit with some others I know are going so we can share a cab. Might be difficult, I'm travelling 5500 miles from London, they're going from Cleveland.

>The main highway from LAX to Costa Mesa is the 405. It's one of the worse in the entire US. I've heard time estimates from my place to Costa Mesa of 2 to 2 1/2 hrs. I live about 45 minutes from LAX. So that leaves you almost 2 hrs. The Doubletree might have a shuttle.
