There has to be something obvious that I am overlooking. I've bought 3 books and spent hours on the MS site. There's plenty of info on how to use ADO and create recordset objects of SQL data. That's easy. But then, what do you do with the recordset? I want to bind its data to controls like spinners, combos, etc. I've looked at RDS and its dataControl object, which is supposed to provide the link between ADO and controls, but I can't find an explanation of how to point the various controls to the dataControl object.

I'm also missing an explanation of what goes in server script, what goes in client script, and what goes in regular HTML tags. If anybody can point me to a source of info on this, I'd be most grateful.

Thanks,
Ross
