Hi William,

My machine was doing the same thing, locking up right after the wallpaper, etc. The techs here changed my video card and suggested I select a rather plain wallpaper (not a real graphic intense picture). With the new video card, I have not experienced the lock-up.

>Windows 95 sometimes goes through the startup process as far as displaying the wallpaper and background then locks solid, requiring a re-boot. This is an intermittent problem and I'm having problems tracking down the cause. Bootlog.txt isn't reporting any failures at this stage, so that's no help.
