>>>>>>Hi Troops,
>>>>>>
>>>>>>I was just wondering if anyone, who's an MSDN subscriber, had received their July, 1999 MSDN Library. The subscription here at the office was re-newed and I haven't received it yet. However, this month's TechNet is out.

>>>>Great news, Ed. Thanks. Of course, mine has to go through Shaw, so it should be tomorrow or Monday before I get it. If not, I can go holler at people.:-)
>>>
>>>MSDN Subscriber tip - if push comes to shove, you can go out to the MSDN SUbscriber Download site; since you've got a Universal, the latest and greatest everything is available there - that's how I got my copy of Win98 SE Upgrade two weeks before the MSDN arrived. It's another big benefit for MSDN subscribers, especially if you have a nice fat pipe to pull stuff down.

>>Thanks, Ed. My only problem with that is that I haven't gotten anything in connection with the renewal. I'm not sure that my previous account number would still be valid. Do you know?

>My renewal number has remained the same from year to year, but I'm not sure what happens when your MSDN subscription changes because of your MVP status. I'd recomend running out to msdn/microsoft.com and contacting subscriber services through there.

The MVP thing doesn't have anything to do with this. I'm concerned about the subscription that Shaw has. Last time we checked (several weeks ago), the re-seller told our purchasing department that they had confirmed it was a renewal. Hadn't heard anything since.
