>>>Thanks, Ed. My only problem with that is that I haven't gotten anything in connection with the renewal. I'm not sure that my previous account number would still be valid. Do you know?
>>
>>My renewal number has remained the same from year to year, but I'm not sure what happens when your MSDN subscription changes because of your MVP status. I'd recomend running out to msdn/microsoft.com and contacting subscriber services through there.

>The MVP thing doesn't have anything to do with this. I'm concerned about the subscription that Shaw has. Last time we checked (several weeks ago), the re-seller told our purchasing department that they had confirmed it was a renewal. Hadn't heard anything since.

In that case, Shaw's MSDN subscription number should have remained the same (except for the month and year code.) You can check the status of your current subscription on-line at the MSDN subscription site, otherwise, you need to contact Subscriber Services. They've been helpful in the past with minor screwups (like when they started requiring a signature for delivery by UPS; they were able to correct the shipping arrangements in a matter of minutes.)
