In Windows 95 and Windows NT, under folder options - view tab, you can select the check box that says 'show file attributes in detail view'. This option is no where to be found in Windows 98! In fact, it seems there a whole lot of options that have been removed from windows 98!

Works the same, at least with Web-style browser windows enabled, there's a check box in View/Folder Options, under the View Tab, to enable showing attributes in detail view. Works the same in all versions of Win98 and NT AFAIK; I just tried this, and it works under SE.
