Well, I don't think that will be the case. VB certainly has a place within software deveopment, but sure when it comes to OOP and database handling you won't find VB being the most ideal tool.

I think a lot of people think that VB is capable of handling anything. This is what I call ignorance. VB is fine for several kind of general purpose things, But not where OOP and database handling is required.
