Hi David!
I think Window's has an onboard text printer driver. Click Settings|Printer|Add and follow the screen. On My Win95, a driver for a KX-3424, or some driver like it was available. Sometimes, ancestral drivers work. Text Printer is there too, I think. If you have to go with control codes, you will probably be slewing output to the printer (@ 0, 0 say "A Report Heading"). Note Line 0 comes before Line 1. And you're probably embedding your control codes with the "???" operator. Output slewed through "@ x,y say", ?,??, and ??? seem to "PassThrough" Window's print engine and work directly with the printer's "appearance" PROM. The driver may be ignored in these circumstances.
