I have produced a project consisting of dozens of forms, programs and reports, etc. It runs well in the development environment. When I attempt to make an application out of it problems with objects begin.

In the development environment I move from a form to either another form or program by issuing a thisform.release command. The objects dissapear and I can chain from routine to routine. When I add a read events command to the beginning of the application the release commands no longer work the same way. Instead the focus moves from object to object and the old ones remain. This eventually relsults in more than one copy of each object being produced and all sorts of problems.

How can I get rid of an object without issuing a clear events command (it is my understanding that there can only be one read events and one clear events at the beginning and end of an application.
