>>Exactly, these things are like 'cookies & fudge' ice cream. If you've never had it, you don't know what your missing! But when you program in multiple languages, sometimes fox starts looking a little vanilla.

>>I didn't even realize the possibilities until you mentioned the refresh problems and ActiveX compatibility. All the 'house of cards' programming we do to get the UI stable could be greatly reduced!

>Frankly, while I'm hopeful, I won't get overly so. Unfortunately, not being able to be at the last DevCon, precluded me from seeing the demo. However, from what I've heard, I think the possibility is good that we may get this. I would caution anyone to remember that this is purely a SWAG on my part. I could be very wrong about this (which wouldn't be the first, or last, time< g >).

I hope too, but I would think that they (MS) should have already decided if this were possible, with out the negative impact you mentioned, and if it were going that direction they would have mentioned this at Dev-Con. This type of change would be seen as a major marketing tool, I would think, and we all know MS is always on top of selling NEW marketable items. So I hold out little hope that VFP7 will have this type of fundamental code changes. But hey who would have thought "THE BODY" would be Gov.

Jeff
