I'm not so sure. Historically, MS is pretty reticient about revealing future features. As a matter of fact, I was surprised that they showed as much as I've heard they did. So let's talk about that...

AFAIK, for Intellisense to work across multiple environments it would have to heavily utilize Windows messaging services. Further, given the component design direction currently being utilized, it doesn't make much sense to me that they would build in this feature independently of its implementation elsewheres. This has served to add "fuel" to the "fire" of my speculation. However, I should point out again, that's just what this is.

Perhaps you're right. I'm just SWAGing (if that) along< g >. One of the purposes, however, of my post was to point out that there are practical considerations connected directly with the VFP internals that have to be taken into account. In this instance, this has been a "feature" that has been desired for some time. Whether or not it's realized may be dependent on my earlier points.
