I just created an instance of my Com server in an interactive VFP session, and used the Crystal object to create the report file. At this point, the com server has set to null the Crystal Reports object. From the command window I have set to null the instance of my com server. Just for the heck of it I issue in the command window 'CLOSE ALL' 'RELEASE ALL' 'CLEAR ALL'. If I go out to explorer and attempt to delete the temporary data file created by the com server, Windows tells me that 'Access Is Denied - Make sure the file is not currently in use'. If I shut down the interactive VFP session, the file can be deleted with no problem.

You are using a rather old version of Crystal. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Have searched CRs KnowledgeBase for any information?
