Well, if you can afford VFP then you can afford Visual Studio.

In the UK the upgrade price from VFP to Visual Studio was quoted at "Around £500" which is about the same as list price for a copy of VFP.

MS UK refused to be drawn further on the price saying it was "a decision for the channel" which translates to - however much the retailers can get away with :-(

IN the Visual Studio (Enterprise) you get Visual Modeller.
After DevDays (I don't finish presentations until the 26th) I'll look at the professional version and see what's in it.
Then I'll see if hte beta VFP support works with Visual Modeller.


HOWEVER remember that Rational Rose is a Professional product.
It supports Use Cases, Automated Testing, Requirements management, automated documentation, reverse engineering code to diagrams...

RR is not for the one-man-and-a-dog development shops, true.
But for serious professional development on a LARGE project you will need a tool of this standard.
