I noticed one of your recommendations was to use citrix. In principle, this is a good idea. However, there is a major problem with Foxpro 2.6 and citrix. I've seen a Foxpro 2.6 application running with the use of Citrix Metaframe and it seems that simply pressing the tab key to go to the next field causes the entire window to refresh. It also seems to refresh as if the entire window was a bitmap! My only explanation for this behavior is that Foxpro 2.6 is not using native Windows calls for the creation of its GUI. This causes Metaframe to send the window as a bitmap, pixel by pixel.

I expect Visual Foxpro would have resolved this issue, however, I never had the chance to perform further tests.
