This seems to be a function of your video card driver and what resolution you're running at. It doesn't happen at 640x480 (but who runs at that anymore!), nor does it happen with 256 color mode at higher resolutions, at least on my H/W. Strange thing, is VFP5 does it correctly, no matter what the resolution/color depth is!
