You can use VFP and make really great apps without ever learning a thing about OOP. When I encounter people trying to get into VFP, I tell them that OOP is the last thing they should learn about.

I agree with you on what you've stated here, but IMO marketing of VFP should still be focused where I stated. Marketing to developers like this won't accomplish much if anything. Just like developers who don't have the option to change, developers who don't want to change are more than aware of VFP already.
