Thanks this helped quite a bit. I have some other questions that I do not know how to verbalize yet. Mainly in the area of multiple developers in the same project. I need to run some test to gain expercience for questions.

I am at a company that is about to move to VFP 6 from 5. They do all VSS stuff from within VSS at the moment.

I am the only developer fully in VFP 6. I am also the point man on figuring out how to run with VSS from within VFP6.
