>I'm really not sure. Could they just be .dbf's renamed to .tbl. Try 'use'ing one of the .tbl's in VFP. VFP is able to open Clipper .dbf's. Other than that, my best guess is that it's a third party library (though all the ones I've used had the standard extension of .lib)

Tried that, tried all sorts of ODBC drivers. We've noted however that a BTRIEVE.EXE is called prior to the main program. This particular executable references the Novell version, but a search of their site hasn't turned much up yet.
