Well I created an Active X control in VC6. I got all the dllregister and unregister stuff in it like it should be. Basically what seems to be my problem is that it will not register on a machine that has never had Visual Studio installed on it. My app plugs in MSVCRTX.dll and MFCXX.dll and the oleaut32 and olepro32 dlls as well. If I call regsvr32 on a machine that has had VS installed on it it registers fine. IF it has never has VS installed it doesn't want to register. I get OLE init errors. I've dug thru MSDN and found a few things that I tried to no avail. Anyone got any ideas?
