>I would like to extract track information from audio CDs. I would prefer an active-x control that is free or cheap, since this isn't employment related. Some CDs that interest me are small-time productions that won't be found in the CD DB web site. Also, it would be interesting to compare the actual CD contents with CD DB information to find errors.

After I quit being lazy and searched the web (or started being lazy and searched the web instead of working), I found:
http://www.mcs.com/~bdring/cddb/cddb.htmlhttp://www.station-media.com/dynamedia/activex/dynacd/dynacd.htmBoth of them interface with
www.cddb.com and both are active-x. The first site has one that is free and also a control that searches lyrics on
www.lyrics.ch. The second one is $20 and might be better documented.
