>I take that back... if you use the set skip command to set skip to the child then moving the parent would move the child as well. There may be other implications in doing this though. I couldn't say not knowing your exact situation or what you're trying to accomplish here.
Thanks, but I didn't wan't the record pointer move. I could do a
SKIP 1
SKIP -1
and that repositions the child to the new record, or
GO RECNO()
too, but I don't really want to move. It was more curiousity really, it works fine with the GO RECNO() thing. Thanks Ken, haven't seen you in while by the way, nice new picture.
