I just meant whoever is using Excel to look at the 45,000 records may not be using the right tool. Anyway, since your a Fox guy, I probably didn't need to mention it in the first place anyway <g>.

I may be wrong but to use DataToCLip method seems like an extra step, and a fairly BIG one. IOW, I have to create the table anyway. As an example let's say that I do a query that results in a table with 45,000 records. Now if I can just open that file in Excel then that would be great! But it would require an extra step to copy that file and paste in excel.
