>My guess is that you'll need to know a little about SQL Server for the Distributed VFP exam, but hopefully the questions will be more about how to what you need to do in VFP to get to SQL Server. IMO, anything that is SQL specific does not belong on a VFP exam.

This is where it gets tough. Where does VFP end and SQL start? Poping stored procedures in SQL Server? Changing IIF()'s to Case etc. Where the upsizing wizard fails? Determining indexs? Dealing with keys?

I think that you will need to have 3 months of good SQL experiernce, getting your throughput tuned, jerking with bottlenecks in routers as good resources for all those tough questions.

VFP has become so big as well. Will M$ demand the VFP is really a COM utility and make the exame 30% COM? Does it consider OLE with word, excel important, and if so to what % of the exam? Are you required to know VB syntax/scripting ?

Is MAPI important? ADO? The list goes on. To what extent do you need to know core VFP and what portion do you need to know fringe aspects. My guess is that the fringe is bigger than we all think.

Are there questions on teh VFP base classes? What if you developed a framework from VFP5 and never looked back to the beginning?
