This same thing happened to me when I uninstalled PWS and reinstalled it from the NT Option Pack Cd's instead of uninstalling Visual Studio and Reinstalling PWS from the Visual Studio Cd's. I finally had to completley reinstall all of my software from scratch, because this seemed to had corrupted my registry and MTS and PWS would not work correctly.

You need to make sure that if you are using Visual Studio, install PWS from the Visual Studio Cd's and not from the NT Option Pack Cd's.
