Oops, I hadn't thought of that. The DATABASE argument might be new in version 6, but right now that's the only version I have installed, so I can't check. The COPY STRUCTURE help in VFP6 says "Creates a new, empty free table with the same structure as the currently selected table.", but the details for the DATABASE argument says "Specifies the name of an existing database to which the new table is added.", so there is a little contradiction in the help file...

>According to VFP Help (as of version 5), COPY STRUCTURE only creates free tables. However, COPY TO has a DATABASE argument. The only drawback to using COPY TO as opposed to COPY STRUCTURE is that it copies the data as well, but you could just ZAP it.
