Hello George,
an honest man ( t'will get you nowhere ), apologies for the brutal honesty but I've been drinking with my equivalent of "The Dark Beer Club", BTW did you see my posting ( today ) on a security/permissions class, I have a system ( legacy )at the moment which uses a table to enable/disable controls on a form depending on user class permissions, basically you add all the object names of your form controls into a table which is of the structure: user_class,object_name,read_only,enabled etc etc..., and call a custom form method from the Init of every form which sets the relevant properties of the object ( crude but it works ), I just can't help thinking there is a better way using a class

Regards

Pete

BTW In my family of three ( Me,Lynne and Herb the Cat ) you are now known as "Croydon George"
Regards,
Peter J. Kane
