The Economist (
www.economist.com) publishes world Big Mac prices, (
http://www.economist.com/editorial/freeforall/library/index_special_collection.html) but they use it to measure the relative value of currencies (and as an excuse for bad puns). They also, by the way, published an article about the costs and benefits of living in Canada (
http://www.economist.com/tfs/library_tframeset.html but unfortunately only the lead article is available to non-subscribers).

>>>By and large I agree with your conclusions.
>>>
>>>And now the government toys with us by declaring some FAKE "cost of living" number that is very low yet virtually everything I buy either costs more from purchase to purchase or costs the same but I get less or now costs where it didn't before or costs the same but is of (much) inferior quality.
>>>
>>>But yes, your burn-out and/or nervous breakdown will be free of added costs when treated.

>>>Cheers,
