I am trying to install windows NT server on the same drive as windows 98. Windows 98 is functioning normally with no problems on a 3G partition (fat32) of a 13G hard drive. The drive has 3 more partitions of 1G, 4G, and 5G which are also recognized by the windows nt install as formatted at fat 32. I can delete the partitions and create unpartitioned space with the install, however NT will still not install on any of the partitions. I get the error "drive 8036MB at....does not have any partitions recognized by windows NT"

I have tried to format the 1G space at fat16 with no success, it is still recognized by the install as fat32 and I have no drive available to install NT. The drive has no information on it other than the windows 98 install and drivers, which I have read must be installed first when attempting a dual boot.

Any suggestions? Thanks...

Paul

(I also have a 4.6G hard drive on the same machine with files only and no operating system. )
