>>>I run BFG Drag T/As on the street, and a 12 inch Mickey Thompson slick at the track. Have yet to have traction problems at the track or the street- suspensions pretty tricked out. I have smeared 4WD Syclones on the street- their traction didn't get 'em too far ahead of me. :-)

>> Ah...a nice soft compound tire (the Mickey's). The problem with the Syclones is that they're automatics. You can do a nice high-RPM launch with them. Brake-torques will only get you so far.

A 1.88 is pretty respectible. The AWD in the T/E/L's (Talon/Eclipse/Laser) can pull 1.6's with the right driver and set-up. I'm normally running 1.8's, though. A 4200 RPM stall should be a lot of fun :) Yeah, baby, YEAH...

What kind of RPM range does the 455 have? I'm kind of used to the high-revving 4 bangers. I need to swap in a new EPROM in my ECU to up the rev-limiter. My car is still pulling pretty hard at 7500RPM when the limiter kicks in. I'm guessing your HP peaks at a much lower RPM.
