I've got several samples on my website for this very thing. You might want to look at some of them and incorporate the code. I think Randy Brown was the originator of most of it. On an ancillary note, have you looked at Rick Strahl's wwipstuff for doing email. It's much lighter than outlook and also allows asynchronous emailing. One thing to watch though is that you have to throttle the emails or you'll quickly run out of threads.
