>Yeah, I've been thinking about looking at Linux again, but haven't had time. Too many other irons in the fire. Are you using Linux just for housing the data or otherwise?

Well, I'm really just getting my feet wet with Linux actually, but I have a client with Novell networks and they want to have a database driven Intranet. The Novell web server is pretty weak when dealing with databases. Novel has the Netscape server, but they have not had much luck with it either. So they decided to try the Apache web server on Linux. I'm working on a way to get data in and out of .dbfs on Linux and the users on the network being able to update data from their Win98 boxes. I know this is not the "ideal" solution to database access in a web environment, but the client has no interest in going with an NT server with IIs. Also, they like the cost of Linux! $0. So, we'll see how it goes.
