IMHO, SCATTER NAME is good to send one record from one tier to another while ADO is best for sending multiple records (like a grid in the interface layer).
>I've used ADO for quite awhile. But this does'nt require conversion to ADO from a cursor and to a cursor from ADO, when dealing with single records. I think it could be useful when a (non-n-tier) program written in VFP wants to use COM for desktop apps. I have already written a DLL which allows reocrd by record navigation in a Form while requesting the data from the DLL.
