Let me jump in on this thread and tell you about a similar problem that I'm having right now. I am doing APPEND BLANK - REPLACE inserts through a remote view to a SQL Server table. After inserting about 1000 records, I browse the remote view and it shows the proper number of recs (1000), but when I check through the SQL query analyzer, it seems that a number of records (usually a dozen or less) never made it into the physical table.

I am using row buffering (type 3) and am checking the tableupdate command for .F. returns, but they are all going through fine.

Is this an issue with inserting large number of records?
