I can't really disagree with that, in theory it's certainly right. But I will say that practically speaking, there are users here who are absolutley stuck (some may have vision problems) on 640, even with 19" screens. And there are others that despise even 800, and will be very upset if they cannot use an app easily at higher resolution. So, though noting that we aren't always in the "real world" here in the bureaucracy center of the universe < s >, we still probably have a good cross-section of user types.
