I haven't done any test on this, but I don't see any performance problem with this approach. AFAIK, the size of the EXE doesn't matter, since VFP will load in memory only the part it need to work at that time, not the whole 8.5MB.

I would suggest including the tables in the EXE in your case.

>I have several read only tables and I thought it would be easiest for distribution to just build the tables into the exe file. Does this have any adverse affects on performance? My exe file went from 3.5 MB to 8.5 MB after I added the tables. Is this a good practice or no?
