Thanks to all who replied:)

The network is Windows NT based, the workstations have all been upgraded to win98 2nd ed. Some more insight on this prob...only 1 employee can create this error; that being so because only he is running a certain function of the program, this function allows the user to enter "quick jobs", many at one time, then save them all at once, which affects all tables that have to do with inventory. The program does come up with a header corruption dialogue box, telling us which tables have failed header corruption. To answer some of the other questions:

- this can be duplicated on several workstations by that user
- if we put him on the NT machine and have him run the program and do his stuff it will never have a problem...it's only when he's on a workstation.

>>Clarification: This is NOT a program created by us, but the company which made this program is telling us this is a network error, now while that may be true...you'd think they'd put some better error handling routine in effect to catch this and report more clearly on it...anyone have any suggestions?
